Kurbside Eatz

Today I checked out Kurbside Eats for the first time. They offer burgers, fries, tacos, and egg rolls with an Asian twist.

Crispy Taco Belly – Seasoned pork belly slices on paratha with kim-chi, fresh lettuce, shredded jack and sharp cheeses, homemade creamy cilantro, spicy mayo, and fresh cilantro and lime.

Kurbside Fries – Seasoned fries with melted cheese, Asian marinated rib eye, kim-chi, shredded jack and sharp cheeses, homemade creamy cilantro, spicy mayo, and fresh cilantro.

Foie Gras Fries

Say what? Foie Gras Fries? That is exactly what I was thinking when I heard that Bernie's Burger Bus was serving up foie gras fries.

I decided to make the drive into town since today was the last day to use the GroupOn coupon at Bernie's. As usual the lines were long but totally worth the wait for a great burger, foie gras fries, and a ice cream sandwich.

I've been to Bernie's a handful of times and this is the best bite I have had from the them.  The foie gras fries were better than any burger I've had even though the burgers are top notch.  This is also on of the Top 5 things I have eaten this year. Get them as soon as you can!

Some of my other visits to Bernie's Burger Bus are documented here and here and here.

Salted Caramel Fries!

The tweets from The Burger Guys once again lured me in for a couple of their new creations.

I must say that the salted caramel fries are INCREDIBLE! They are salty and sweet and crunchy all at the same time. How can fresh cut fries that are fried in duck fat and drizzled with salted caramel be resisted???  Really....can they????

Also, not to be forgotten is the well put together Dublin Dr. Pepper burger. It is stacked high with perfectly cooked Akaushi beef, Dublin Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, fresh onions, house made dill pickles, and jalapeños.
