The Little Bitty Burger Barn

The Ultimate Jalapeño Burger - Two quarter pound patties on a fresh bun piled high with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, pepper jack cheese, lots of jalapenos and bacon.

Beaver's

The Beaver Burger is made with sirloin, natural brisket, and bacon then topped with bibb lettuce, purple onion, tomato, house made pickles, cheddar cheese, thick cut bacon and a fried egg.

The Beaver Balls are battered and fried brownie balls with white chocolate sauce, peanut butter powder, and vanilla ice cream.

Salted Caramel Fries!

The tweets from The Burger Guys once again lured me in for a couple of their new creations.

I must say that the salted caramel fries are INCREDIBLE! They are salty and sweet and crunchy all at the same time. How can fresh cut fries that are fried in duck fat and drizzled with salted caramel be resisted???  Really....can they????

Also, not to be forgotten is the well put together Dublin Dr. Pepper burger. It is stacked high with perfectly cooked Akaushi beef, Dublin Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, fresh onions, house made dill pickles, and jalapeños.

Lankford Grocery

Grim Burger - Mac & cheese, bacon, jalapeños and a fried egg.

Leonard's Famous Burgers

Seems to be a trend with me lately, but here goes another burger post.  I wanted something new and I immediately thought of Leonard's Famous Burgers in Acres Home.  They have been there for 57 years and serve some of the finest traditional style burgers in Houston.  I enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger combo all the way and it was fantastic.

Leonard's also made Robb Walsh's 100 Favorite Dishes in Houston and came in at #93. Read more about it here.

Burger Run

Saw a tweet from Bernie's Burger Bus announcing that they were parked in La Centerra shopping center in Katy. We couldn't pass up such an easy opportunity to support a local food truck, so the kids and I decided to make a last minute burger run. We had the beef sliders with pesto aioli and garlic roasted tomatoes with sweet potato fries.  The sliders we cooked to perfection and I really liked the creamy pesto aoli.

The Burger Guys

The Burger Guys are putting out some top notch burgers. This trip I had a Houston burger with a fried duck egg, french fries, and a cafe sua da shake.
